About the JustGiving tip on your donation
When you donate through IF Charity’s website, your donation is securely processed by JustGiving, our trusted payment platform.
As part of their service, JustGiving automatically adds a “Tip to JustGiving” – this helps them cover their operating costs, including costs involved in reclaiming Gift Aid from HMRC, and reduces the payment processing fees charged to IF Charity.
This tip is completely optional, and you can edit the amount or set it to £0 if you prefer not to leave a tip. Your full intended donation to IF Charity will still be processed, regardless of the tip amount.
To change or remove the tip:
- Look for the “Tip to JustGiving” section at the donation summary stage.
- Click on “Edit”.
- Choose your preferred amount or set it to £0.
This “Tip to JustGiving” may sometimes appear as a slider, as shown in the image below. Please note that the slider does not go down to £0. If you wish to set the tip amount to £0, you will need to click on “Enter custom amount”.
