After weeks of hardship and hunger, the sound of cooking has returned to Gaza’s emergency kitchens. Thanks to your continued support, IF Charity has resumed preparing and distributing hot meals to displaced families. In a time where food is scarce and fresh cooking almost impossible, this act brings dignity, warmth, and a sense of home.
Our team worked tirelessly last week to source ingredients and set up safe meal distribution points. For many families, this is the first freshly prepared meal they’ve had in weeks. Children queue with small bowls, eyes wide with anticipation. Mothers express relief knowing they can serve their families something warm, however modest.
As northern Gaza remains in the grip of confirmed famine, and food insecurity deepens across Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis, these meals are more than nourishment – they are a reminder that the world still cares. Scroll down to see the impact of your donations through our images from Gaza.
