Even in war, education must go on. This month, IF Charity completed the latest project of our Education Reborn programme at Al-Irfan School in Gaza.
With your help, we restored water, sanitation and support systems that are critical for children to return to safe and stable learning environments. We installed a new 500-litre water tank to ensure clean drinking water, refurbished the school’s bathroom facilities, and provided modest cash incentives to teachers to support ongoing classes despite the hardship.
In Gaza, where more than half of all school buildings have suffered damage, these small interventions mean the world.
Education and schooling projects like this help children reclaim their sense of normality. With access to safe toilets, clean drinking water, and dedicated teachers, we are planting the seeds of recovery.
