Distributing Eid gifts to children in Gaza
In a year marked by trauma, loss, and displacement, the children of Gaza have endured more than most adults will ever face. Many have been forced from their homes, now living in crowded tent camps with little privacy or comfort. They have heard the sound of bombs and gunfire, witnessed the destruction of their neighbourhoods, and mourned the loss of loved ones.
In the middle of this hardship, Eid al-Adha arrived. For most children in Gaza, there is little to celebrate – yet traditions still matter. One of the most cherished among them is receiving new clothes for Eid.
Through the generous support of our donors, IF Charity was able to deliver new Eid clothes and gifts to displaced children living in Gaza’s refugee camps. Children selected their own outfits, choosing colours and styles that made them feel special again, even if just for a moment.
For families who have lost everything, this simple act offered dignity. For the children, it brought smiles, laughter, and a much-needed sense of normality.
These distributions help show the children of Gaza that they are not forgotten. That even in the darkest of times, someone cares. That Eid can still mean something joyful.
Our team is still delivering Eid clothes and gifts – and will continue doing so for the next 3 days. You can still donate:
- £20 provides Eid gifts and new clothes for up to three children in Gaza
- £30 to send a 2kg fresh meat parcel so that a family can take part in Eid al-Adha traditions
- £115 to deliver your Qurbani to Gaza (you can do so until Sunday 8 June)
Simply click on the links above to donate, or call us on 0121 663 1309.
