Walk for Gaza 2026: Six Years of Solidarity and Strides
The Walk for Gaza Challenge 2026 marked a monumental milestone: six years of an inspiring display of faith and determination during the holy month of Ramadan. Our dedicated participants committed to their daily steps while fasting, transforming personal endurance into urgent humanitarian aid. This challenge wasn’t just about covering distance; it was a profound act of solidarity that linked every mile walked to the immediate needs of those suffering in Gaza.
A Legacy of Dedication
Over the past six years, this event has brought our community together in a unique mission of compassion. This year, the spirit was stronger than ever. Balancing the spiritual rigors of the fast with the physical demand of the walk, our team demonstrated what can be achieved when we move with purpose. Whether it was through early morning strides or evening walks before Iftar, every step taken was a testament to our collective resolve.
Mission ACCOMPLISHED! Aid Delivered & Final Impact
Following another month of incredible dedication and sacrifice, the mission for the Walk for Gaza Challenge 2026 is officially ACCOMPLISHED! We are proud to share that this has become our most successful year yet, achieving our highest fundraising total to date.
Thanks to the unwavering commitment of our walkers and the immense generosity of their supporters, we have reached a record-breaking total of over £37,000. These vital funds were immediately channeled to deliver urgent humanitarian aid and support life-saving relief efforts in Gaza. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our participants, supporters, and donors for making this a monumental success. Your generosity is quite literally changing lives.
Voices of Hope: Hearing from Our Dedicated Walkers
We are honored to share some of the feedback we received from the participants who made this journey possible. Their words offer a powerful glimpse into the grit and grace required to walk while fasting:
-
“Seeing the hard work pay off was a beautiful experience and I am so grateful to have taken part. It all went well for me Alhumdulilah. I started at a £100 and raised over 10 times that!”
-
“It was such an amazing experience and everybody was so approachable and passionate. Getting to see people’s updates, daily challenges, and the sincerity of each person was genuinely inspiring.”
-
“The strategy of increasing the target as we achieved smaller goals worked so well. It was much better than having one high target at the start.”
-
“A huge thank you to the coordination team who were constantly on hand to answer queries and share motivational messages during their busiest period. The organizers have been excellent; they seem to be getting better and better each year.”
-
“Alhamdulillah, a great cause and I feel blessed to be part of it.”
