Khan Younis: Fresh bread for displaced families
As Gaza continues to recover under a fragile ceasefire, the struggle to meet basic daily needs remains immense. In Khan Younis City, hundreds of thousands of displaced families who lost their homes and livelihoods are still depending on humanitarian assistance for survival.
This November, IF Charity continued distributing freshly baked bread in the city, ensuring that families have access to one of Gaza’s most essential and beloved foods.
Bread has always been a cornerstone of the Palestinian table. Yet with bakeries destroyed, scarce flour supplies, and limited access to clean water, even this simple staple has become difficult to secure. Through your generous support, our team has been able to bake and distribute thousands of loaves to displaced families, providing both nourishment and comfort to those who have endured months of hunger and uncertainty.
This project also supports local resilience. By partnering with community bakeries and employing local men and women, your donations are not only feeding families but also creating vital work opportunities in a time of economic collapse. Each loaf of bread represents both relief and renewal – a sign that, even amid hardship, hope and dignity can rise again.
