Hygiene kits for displaced families in Khan Younis

With your generosity, IF Charity’s field team was able to reach hundreds of displaced families sheltering in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, last month. While the pause in fighting has offered a brief respite, living conditions remain dire – overcrowded shelters, limited water, and growing health risks. To help families protect themselves and maintain dignity, we distributed hundreds of hygiene kits filled with essential items.

Each kit contained soap, shampoo, detergent, tissues, and sanitary pads – basic necessities that many had gone without for months. Access to hygiene supplies is crucial for preventing disease, particularly in temporary shelters where access to clean water and sanitation facilities are scarce.

Our team worked with local volunteers to ensure distributions were conducted safely, fairly, and with care for every family’s needs. Thanks to your help, these kits are helping families reclaim a sense of wellbeing and cleanliness amid difficult circumstances.

While the ceasefire brings some relief, the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains fragile. Your continued support allows IF Charity to stand by Gaza’s people – delivering dignity, health, and hope where it is needed most.
