With aid corridors currently open, we have been able to increase our work on the ground in Gaza. This week, we distributed dozens of hampers to injured and displaced children across Gaza.
Each hamper was carefully prepared with nourishing items such as cornflakes, noodles, milk, cream, biscuits, pineapple, corn, and popcorn – small but meaningful gifts designed to lift spirits and provide relief.
Our team in Gaza visited shelters, hospitals and field clinics to hand out the hampers to the children of Gaza. For the children, it was a rare moment of joy amid the destruction – a reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved.
Smiles returned, even if just for a moment, to faces that have endured far too much loss.
With much of Gaza in ruins and medical facilities overwhelmed, aid distributions like this play an essential role in supporting children’s well-being. They offer not just nutrition, but care, comfort, and dignity.
