More than 80% of Gaza’s population live below the poverty line, and many families struggle to afford basic commodities including food and water.

The 13-year siege on the Gaza Strip has devastated the economy, it has caused the near collapse of the health sector and forced Palestinians into a life of deprivation. More than 95% of Gaza’s drinking water supply is unfit for human consumption and more than 80% of the population still rely on humanitarian aid to survive.

Today, on International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, iF Charity reaffirms its mission to support struggling families across the Gaza Strip and help to alleviate the financial burdens they are forced to face. We will continue to ensure families across Gaza are not left to choose between food and medicine, that students do not need to give up education and that medical professionals have the tools they need to treat patients properly.

iF Charity works on the ground in the Gaza Strip to provide vital humanitarian aid, while working with local communities to help build resilience and financial independence. While the siege continues to devastate lives, iF Charity is providing a vital lifeline of support to some of the most vulnerable families across Gaza.
