The Ashura Challenge 2026

iF Ashura Challenge 2026

The Ashura Challenge is Back: Join the £100 for Gaza Campaign!

As we step into the Islamic New Year and the sacred month of Muharram, the blessed days of Ashura are approaching. Last year, our community stepped up amazingly. This year, the need is even more critical, and we are calling on you to join forces with us once again.

The 10th of Muharram is the Day of Ashura, a day highly recommended for fasting (on the 9th and 10th, or 10th and 11th). It marks the historic day Allah (SWT) saved Prophet Musa (AS) and his people from tyranny by parting the sea. It is a powerful story of liberation, resilience, and divine justice that deeply mirrors the enduring struggle and profound steadfastness of our brothers and sisters in Gaza today.

On these auspicious days, righteous deeds, particularly acts of charity, carry immense, multiplied rewards.

The Challenge: Your £100, Their Lifeline

We’re challenging YOU to raise a minimum of £100 over the sacred days of Muharram.

By launching your fundraising page early, you have the flexibility to raise funds throughout the month, allowing you to build momentum for a major collective sprint around the 9th, 10th, and 11th of Muharram.

Your support will provide critical emergency aid to the most needy families in Gaza. Every single pound you raise is a direct investment in your Akhirah and a literal lifeline for families enduring unimaginable hardship.

What happens after you sign up?

Once you submit your details, a member of our team will be in touch with you directly to set up your personalised fundraising page. We will handle the technical side for you and send over your digital toolkit so you can start sharing your link and tracking your donations straight away!
