Iftar in Lockdown
April 18, 2020
Thousands of impoverished and struggling families in the besieged Gaza Strip urgently need support. Last Ramadan, by the Grace of Allah (SWT), your kindness enabled us to provide food packs to over 15,000 families in need. We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your generosity.
This year, as living conditions in the besieged Gaza Strip continue to deteriorate, we would like to ask for your support for our ‘Iftar in Lockdown’ campaign, which aims to provide daily iftar meals for over 400 families in Gaza. Just £5 provides a hot meal for people unable to leave their homes or unable to buy food during Ramadan.
Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever feeds a fasting person will have his sins forgiven, will be saved from hell fire, and will have the same reward as the fasting person without diminishing the reward of the fasting person in the slightest.”
This is a beautiful opportunity to help our brothers and sisters struggling due to poverty, conflict and the current crisis, while increasing your rewards in this blessed month. We will keep you up to date on the number of families that benefit from your generous donations.
