Covid-19 Emergency Appeal
Act NOW to protect Palestinian lives

The first cases of local transmission have been found in Gaza and a mandatory lockdown has been imposed. With your help we have been responding to the needs set out by our field staff as they build plans to protect vulnerable families.
A mass outbreak in Gaza would be devastating. The Gaza Strip has been under siege for over 13 years and its infrastructure is so broken that Gaza is described as ‘unliveable’.
We recognise the courageous efforts of nurses and health workers in the besieged Gaza Strip, where hospitals and health clinics are severely overwhelmed and lacking vital medicines and equipment. Without international assistance, the people of Gaza will suffer disproportionately and the impact would be severe and long term.

Our teams are supplying food and financial aid as well as hygiene kits to families across refugee camps, which they can use to help stop the spread of infection. Each family hygiene kit contains:
- Hand sanitiser
- Gloves
- Face mask
- Soap
- Rubbing alcohol
- Household bleach
