Break Bread for Gaza
Since 2007, Israel has imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip, severely controlling the import of basic necessities including food, fuel and medicines.
Food insecurity in the besieged Gaza Strip continues to rise; over 68 per cent of households, or about 1.3 million people, are now severely or moderately food insecure.
Bread is a staple and accessible food in Palestine. Palestinians make delicious and varied types of bread to be eaten for every meal. It is also a food that is perfect for sharing!
This Ramadan, join our Break Bread for Gaza Challenge by using our recipe cards to make delicious bread. You can share your delicious creations with friends and family while raising funds for food aid in Gaza.
